Susan Wiltshire is an inveterate and curious traveler and picture taker who follows up her
wanderings with extensive reading about the history, geography, and culture of the places
she’s visited. (3/13, 30, 4/17, 24)
Doug Merrey is an anthropologist who lived for most of his adult life in Asia and Africa as a
researcher and consultant on improving access to and use of water for agriculture in
developing countries. Two of his presentations reflect recent work (Ethiopia, Nepal). The
third reflects work done early in his career in Sri Lanka. (3/27, 4/3, 10)
